The
Franklin Township Trustees have appointed a "Trail/Greenway
Committee" to help facilitate the development of a trail system and
find ways to preserve greenspace in Franklin Township. If you are
interested in either of these items, please contact one of the Township
Trustees. Both trails and greenways were highly recommended in the
Township survey done in 2000. This committee meets on the last Wednesday
of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Township office.
Mission
Statement
The
Trail/Greenway Committee acts in an advisory/planning capacity to the
Franklin Township Trustees to identify existing and potential locations
suitable for preservation and/or development of greenspace, wetlands and
trails consistent with The Community Plan Goals identified in the Franklin
Township Community and Land Use Plan.
